Collection For Teacher Care Bags
During the month of October we are having the AWANA Kids bring items for “Teacher Care Bags” at the end of October each child will get a bag to give to a teacher, either a school teacher, homeschool parent, Sunday School, or children’s church teacher. Please read the list of suggested items to bring below. Each AWANA kid who brings an item will receive 5 shares for paticipation.
- Lip Balm
- Small Bottles Hand Sanitizer
- Post It Notes
- Small Candy Bars
- Lifesavers Or Small Wrapped Candy
- Wrapped Mints or Butterscotch Drops
- Pencil Top Erasers
- Small Packs of Tissues
- Individually Wrapped Rice Krispie Treats
- High Lighters
- Pens
- Small Wrapped Snacks

- Supper from 5:30-6:00 pm
- Awana time 6:00-8:00 pm

AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed ( 2 Timothy 2:15 ). The goal of AWANA is to reach elementary-age students for Christ, to train them to understand and rightly handle the Word of truth, to love Him, and to love others, all in a context of fun and excitement.
